Prior to Andrea's spectacular find of the Italian Christmas Donkey, she had requested Alvin and the Chipmunks 'The Christmas Song', so I say we continue with the adorableness of animated animals and bring on the Chipmunks for today! While I do not support Alvin's pre-Christmas sneaking into gifts, I do love this song :)
I have to comment on this one...Alvin and the Chipmunks almost got me kicked out of the fourth grade once. My fourth grade teacher - Mrs. Christenbury (also known to fourth grade boys as "Mrs. Cussinberry" although I'm sure she never uttered a cuss word in her life) asked our class to bring in our favorite Christmas album (long before CDs for you younger folks) to play on the last day of class before Christmas. Well - I brought in Alvin and the Chipmunks and when Mrs. Cussin...er.. Christenbury played the song and I guess she was expecting Nat King Cole or something because she almost had a stroke when she heard the Chipmunks.
